SHACKS

A shack is thought to be a roughly built cabin; a step up from a hut. I guess what intrigued me about shacks was they appear to be able to stand the test of time, but look like they have a story to tell. Inanimate objects, but especially dwellings, houses, man-made living spaces have and hold a mystical fascination for me. They can appear out of no where and cry out with a need to be recognized or acknowledged. It would be fair to say that some people collect sea shells, shot glasses, or T-Shirts on their travels. I collect images of shacks.
